Hamadan rugs are Persian, meaning they come from the region or parts of Western and Central Asia. This rug is a big deal because it's got more knots per square inch than any other type of carpet. As a matter of fact, the rugs are so tightly woven that it's nearly impossible for a hair to go through.

Hamadan Persian rugs are much heavier than most other modes of carpeting. The traditional Hamadan rug and its wool are very durable and will last hundreds of years. With proper care, the rugs will not become moth-eaten. These rugs will not fade, rot or wear out because they're hand-made with all-natural dyes from flowers and leaves found on trees in the region as well as minerals found in the earth below them.

The carpets are hand woven by the best Persian rug makers in Hamadan, the region. These traditional rugs come in two main colors; you can then blue and red Hamadan rugs. You can find many different designs, including floral, tribal, and geometric shapes. Some of these interesting shapes include flowers with vines that grow into other shapes, such as a tree or even your name!
