Since 2008
Magic Rugs showroom, located in Charlotte, NC, is a go to shop for authentic, handmade rugs in all sizes.
The Magic Rugs store was established in Charlotte, North Carolina, back in 2008. We were a very small team back then. Now, we have over 50 members working from around the globe to source top quality handmade rugs and deliver the best customer experience.
We are located in Charlotte, but that doesn’t stop us from providing our services to neighbouring areas, such as Wilmington, Raleigh, South End, Ballantyne, and Uptown. In fact, we offer free shipping across the U.S.
Why Shop From Magic Rugs
When you choose Magic Rugs, you are choosing more than a rug store. You are choosing craftsmanship, expert service, and a locally grown business.
When you shop online, it’s hard to tell the difference between a machine made rug and a hand knotted masterpiece. At our Charlotte rug store, you can see and feel the difference. From soft wool to hand dyed natural fibers, every rug in our collection tells a story.
You don’t need to fly overseas to find stunning, authentic Oriental rugs or Persian area rugs. We import directly from artisans around the world, cutting out the middleman so you get exceptional rugs at prices that fit your budget.
We’re proud to be part of the Charlotte community and to serve nearby areas like Ballantyne, Pineville, Fort Mill, Gastonia, and more. As a family run business, we’re here to build lasting relationships, not just transactions.
Whether you’re searching for a hand knotted Persian rug for your living room, a bold tribal rug for your entryway, or a classic traditional rug for your dining room, our friendly team is here to help you choose the perfect fit, with honest advice and zero pressure.
We have one of the largest handmade rug collections in the Southeast with styles like traditional, transitional, and modern.
We stock authentic Persian rugs and Oriental rugs sourced from the region, India, Turkey, Tibet, Afghanistan, etc.

Visit Our Rug Store

We have a dedicated floor team that will help you every step of the way. You can tell them what you have in mind, and they’ll pull out the pieces that match your style.
