Checkered rugs

In its most basic form, a checkered rug has a design that is made up of tiny squares that are usually of different colors in each square. These squares usually can be found on the same plane and can look like they're just put together to create the design. However, there are some that have small spaces in between the squares, and they are called "solid" or "double checkers rugs".
