At Magic Rugs, medium-sized rugs typically range from 4x6 to 6x9. The most popular sizes are 5'x7', 5'x8', and 6'x9'. Anything smaller is considered a small rug; anything bigger moves into the large rug category.
It totally depends on your room size. A 5'x7' area rug works perfectly in smaller living rooms or apartments. For larger spaces, you might feel it looks too small. Ideally, find a size where the front legs of your furniture sit comfortably on the rug.
We sure do! All Magic Rugs medium-sized rugs ship free to your door. We even offer free deliveries during the holidays.
We have 6'x9' rugs available for almost every room. They can be used in master bedrooms under the bed, dining rooms with tables for around 6 people, home offices, playrooms, or large entryways. You can also use them in basements, sunrooms, or covered outdoor spaces to define different zones.
