Place the “tentacle grip” side down on hard flooring for maximum gripping power or place the soft felted fiber side down on top of wall-to-wall carpeting to keep your area rugs from budging or creasing; this rug pad adds an extra layer of cushion for a comfortable feel when walking across your area rugs. NOTE: When ordering a rug pad, choose a general size and then include the EXACT size of your area rug in the order notes The rug pad will be cut 2" shorter than the exact size of your area rug for perfect placement.
